Why Do Round Graphs Appear Oval When I Use Remote Desktop

When running NI AWRDE using remote desktop on a Windows 7 PC, round graphs (i.e. Smith chart, polar, and antenna) appear oval: wider than their height.
This is due to a bug in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. A hotfix is available from Microsoft here.
NOTE:?This problem is fixed in Windows 8 and later.
