Please help me guys, I want to how to generate schematic from Layout in ADS 2011

As far as I'm aware that is not possible. Consider if I drew a random series of rectangles and circles. You want ADS to turn that into a circuit schematic?

I want to generate schematic from PCB layout....if you can please let me know the details...thanks for replying

if you have a layout at momentum, you can transfer that to ads schematic. it was called something like `layout object` i might not remember its name correctly cause some time has passed. after that step you can run ads sch simulation and that process calls momentum and does 2.5d work also.
try googling `layout object at ads2011`.

I may have misunderstood your initial request, you want to simply export the ADS layout as a functional component, not an actual schematic, correct?

That is fairly straight forward. In the layout editor (ADS 2011), go EM -> Component -> Create EM Model and Symbol. Then go to your schematic editor, and type in the name of the layout file into the component name box. You will then be able to insert the component.

Along with what PlanarMetamaterials has told you will have to insert ports at various points in the layout and then export to schematic, so that at these ports you can place the components and do the cosimulation.
