Using xrandr during ADS session causing menu to freeze/crash

In Linux, if you have anADS 2016.01session running and attempt to do an "xrandr" to change your desktop resolution via VNC, it cause the ADS main window and other open windowsbecome unresponsive. Attempting to click "File" or "Tools" etc., simply shows the animation of the button being clicked, but no drop down appears. I have had this occur in the middle of a webex with Keysight as well. They told me at the time that this was a known issue, but for now the only resolution is to not change resolution when ADS is running. Users should close ADS first before changingresolution. Is there a better fix for this available now, or planned in the future?

Suggest contacting the person at Keysight who communicated that his was a known issue, and ask that person for an update on any proposed fix or workaround.
