How to simulate GDSII/Gerber/DXF file in ADS Layout

Can anybody suggest me how to simulate gdsii file in ads layout, suppose I made a layout and simulated that in ads then I created gdsii file for that after that again i imported the gdsii in new layout now I want to assign ports ti that gdsii and simulate that to get the same results for this it is asking in importing about layer information so pls suggest me regarding this problem...?
