Convert SPICE model to MDIF model

录入:edatop.com    点击:

Is it possible to automatically convert a basic SPICE model (such as a diode or BJT) directly to a MDIF model? file I know I can import the SPICE model by doing file->import->netlist. But that creates an ADS model component instead of an MDIF model.

What are you trying to do?

MDIF is not a circuit model, it is data tables (results, not circuit).

So it makes more sense to import the SPICE model (circuit) as an ADS circuit.

I'm confused when you say MDIF isn't a circuit model. i'm referring this page of the ADS help:qthelp://ads.2016.01/doc/cktsim/Model_MDIF_Files.html

This shows an example of a BJT MDIF model (EE_BJT2_Model)

For example if I have a BJT SPICE model such as the one shown below, is there a tool that will convert that to the MDIF model format (instead of manually populating the table)?

I was looking at this example, that sweeps a set of BJT MDIF models. I would like to do this type of simulation, but I need my models to be in the correct format

I'm sorry, your request makes perfect sense. MDIF is usually used to store parameterized data tables (e.g. measured S-parameters at different bias conditions), that's what confused me with your SPICE -> MDIF question. But in the end, it's all parameter names and values, so your (unusual) approach to use this for sweeping over a table of model parameters makes sense. Sorry for the confusion again, I can't help with an answer on the import question.
