L不断减小,速度当然会提高,但是,VDD也按比例下降,延迟反而 增加了。
说白了,我没能理解延迟和速度的关系?之前还觉得这两个是一个概念。延迟是输出对输入的快速反应程度。那速度是指信号在电路中跑的快慢吗?往解答

Here I define speed=frequency=1/delay
speed=frequency=gm/(2*pi*Cgate)
gm=2*beta*(W/L)*Vod = Cox*(W/L)*Vod,
Cox: proportional to 1/tox,
Vod: gate overdrive voltage, Vod = Vgs-Vt = Vdd-Vt.
Cgate proportionals to (L*W)/tox.
tox: thickness of gate oxide.
=> speed = gm/(2*pi*Cgate) proportional to Vod/(L^2)
Although Vod is smaller, L is a squared term in the denominator.
So, with L and Vod decreased, speed=1/delay, speed increase and delay is "smaller".
