CST2013: Object Information

Here you will get information about a selected object such as components or solids. All fields in this dialog are output only, you may not edit them.

Name

The objects name is printed here. For components it is the <component name>, for solids it is <componentname:solidname>.

Type

Gives you information what type of object you have selected. (i.e. Component , Brick, Boolean; empty for Loft, Extrusion...)

Number of display facets

The number of facets used to plot the object. For components the sum of triangles for all associated solids.

Volume

The volume of a solid is displayed here. For components this field is empty.

Mass

The mass of a solid is displayed here. For components this field is empty.

Note: The mass is non-zero only if a density value is defined for the respective material of the solid.

Xmin / Xmax / Ymin / Ymax / Zmin / Zmax

The bounding box of the selected object.

OK

Closes the dialog box.
