CST2013: Create Face from Picked Faces

Modeling: ShapesFaces and AperturesConstruction FacesCreate Face from Picked Faces

In this dialog box you may create a face from a set of selected faces.
Please note: The created face is not considered in the simulation, but can be used to create other structures and to integrate fields on the face's surface.

As soon as the face is defined it will appear in the main plot window and on the navigation tree.

Name

Specify the unique name for the face.

Offset

Specify a valid expressions for the translation in the local normal direction of each face element. The selected face will be translated by this offset.

Press this button to create the face. When this operation fails to produce a valid face, an error message will appear and it will be made undone.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.

Help

Shows this help text.
