Post Processing: Signal Post Processing Network Parameters Model Order Reduction

Within this dialog box you may extract network parameters by model order reduction. Based on already-calculated S-parameters, a network file in SPICE syntax will be created. If a frequency dependent impedance is given, please renormalize the S-parameters first.

Settings frame

Automatic pole estimation: Enables the automatic pole estimation for the given  S-parameter data

Initial number of poles: Specify the initial number of poles considered by the MOR scheme. This setting is only available if Automatic pole estimation is disabled.

Accuracy: Specify the maximum error for the S-parameter approximation.

Note: The accuracy may be violated after performing the passivity step.

Enforce passivity for all frequency values: Choose this option to ensure passivity from zero to infinity.

Write differential netlist: Choose this option to obtain a netlist with differential ports.

Use AR-Filter results if available: Check this button to use S-parameter data based on AR-Filter results if available.

SPICE netlist frame

File name: Specify an output file name here. You may browse for a file by pressing the Browse button.

Netlist format: Specify the output format here. Possible options are "Berkeley SPICE" and "HSPICE".

OK

Accepts your settings and leaves the dialog box.

Cancel

Closes this dialog box without performing any further action.
