CST2013: Special Solver Parameters - AR-Filter
Simulation: SolverStart SimulationSpecialsAR-Filter
Online AR-filter analysis
Activates the online AR-filter analysis. The Auto Regressive (AR)-filter is a signal-processing method to predict time signals to save simulation time. These predicted signals are then used to calculate the scattering matrices. Using AR-filtering is reasonable when simulating very resonant structures.
Maximal energy dev. for steady state
The maximal energy deviation is the desired value for the accuracy of the scattering parameter approximation achieved by the AR-filter. For real loss-free structures, the energy balance should be 1 over the whole frequency range. Every deviation is directly related to the error made by the calculation.
Pulse widths between checks
Set the number of pulses between the AR-filter computations.
Settings...
Leads you to the AR-filter dialog.
OK
Accepts the input and closes the dialog.
