Calculating the Effective Wavelength (Lambda)

The effective wavelength, l_eff, is calculated from

where b is the phase constant associated with the wave.

Under the Matrix Data tab of the Solution Data dialog box, lambda is displayed when Gamma is selected as the matrix type.
